Job OverviewOur client, a leading firm in London, is seeking a Physics or Electronics Patent Attorney to join their expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive, personable and commercially astute professional to work closely with a diverse client base, including SMEs and start‑ups, providing expert patent advice and managing a varied portfolio of cases. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client‑facing skills, organisational abilities, and confidence to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Regular travel and networking are an integral part of the role, ensuring high visibility and business development opportunities within the firm.Key Qualifications & ResponsibilitiesExperience as a finalist level or recently qualified UK / European Patent Attorney with a focus on Physics, Electronics, or related fields.Proven client‑facing and relationship management skills.Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to workload management.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exhibiting a personable and confident manner.Ideally, previous experience working with start‑ups or SMEs and involvement in business development activities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Collegiate working environment with opportunities for professional growth, exposure to a broad range of clients, and the chance to develop your expertise in a supportive setting.
