About the Role HMP Garth has a capacity of around 800 males and is a category B Prison located in Lancashire. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will have experience working within Mental Health and is a prescriber, you be based within the healthcare department and will also be required to work on the prison wings. What we offer Onsite parking Access to onsite gym Careers and development opportunities Working Hours Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week 8am - 4pm Responsibilities Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team. This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health, and substance misuse practitioners You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care. Salary & Support This position is permanent and you will receive an annual salary of between £59,677 - £66,792 per annum depending on experience.
