We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Fire Engineer to join our team, who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. You will be supporting our experts across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider team, therefore it is key you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area and begin your journey with SOCOTEC. Responsibilities The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Develop design and construction fire safety strategies Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls Prepare other technical engineering analyses such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, Radiation Assessments etc. Carry out site visits when required Provide fire safety advice Write fee proposal letters Liaise with clients on a regular basis Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate : A bachelor’s or master’s degree in either fire engineering or a related subject with relevant experience related to fire engineering Involvement with a professional body Positive attitude and excellent communication skills What’s in it for you?
