Position Senior Design Manager – Wates Group About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Construction Team, leading high‑profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities Review current design of projects, undertake detailed risk and opportunity appraisal to mitigate risk, enhance buildability and add value prior to construction. Collaborate with the project team, Lead Designer and Consultant Team to produce and manage realistic design programmes and information‑required schedules to satisfy design, procurement and construction requirements. Work closely with Commercial and Operations Teams to ensure all design deliverables are fully coordinated, buildable and within budget; contribute to technical workshops and value management exercises as required.
