Potential for performance‑based incentives. Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Chef De Partie, based in Caterham. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, and ensuring food quality and presentation. Responsibilities include collaborating with the team to develop menu items, maintaining inventory and supplies, and adhering to health and safety standards. Additionally, the Chef De Partie will assist in training junior kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Qualifications Culinary skills: Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating. Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive team environment. Organizational skills: Ability to manage a section of the kitchen, maintain inventory, and ensure that work is completed efficiently. Attention to detail: Ensuring the quality and presentation of food meets high standards. Food safety knowledge: Familiarity with hygiene, food safety regulations, and health standards. Creativity: Ability to contribute to menu development and come up with innovative ideas for dishes. Previous culinary experience: Prior experience in a professional kitchen and relevant certifications or training in culinary arts are beneficial.
