Please note this post is funded until31/03/27An exciting opportunity hasarisen for an enthusiastic Band 6 Nurse to join our small and friendly nursingteam.B11 is a very busy ward caring for pregnantpatients up to 20 weeks gestation as well as post-operative patients undergoingboth gynaecology and breast surgery covering elective and emergency admissions.We are also continuing to develop our Same DayEmergency Care service to provide women with a seamless journey whilst with usand to give the right care in the right place at the right time.The post offers many opportunities and may includesome rotation to other services within the department, including working on theearly pregnancy assessment unit and within the pregnancy advisory service.Main duties of the jobThis post will suit a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in women's health. The pace is fast, so efficient admission and discharge planning is a priority. You must possess excellent and effective communication skills for dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
