We are happy to accommodate a consult-only role if this is your preference and you will have access to the expertise of experienced clinicians and advanced practitioners. We offer an excellent balance between consults and ops, with every vet having the opportunity to do both consults and surgeries in every shift worked. We offer 15-minute consults and insert catch-up slots in between to allow vets to catch-up if a consult runs over, to write notes, make phone calls, or to discuss cases with other vets.Fix or flex – work life balance that work for youWe are happy to offer flexible working options working between 20-36 hours per week. Out-of-hours shifts are very limited in the evenings between 6:30 pm – 9 pm and at weekends 8:30 am – 5 pm. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. We are a training practice providing our staff with ample support to ease into the team and gain experience. We have 14 vets, mostly working part time making use of the flexible rota pattern we offer, and an experienced nursing and support team. We have certificate holders in cardiology, medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and diploma holders in general anaesthesia so we can support you and develop your skills. Our team get together for a meal and clinical discussion every three months.
