Join us as an Agile Senior Programme Manager at our Malvern site, with the opportunity to work with advanced technology in partnership with brilliant minds.The Role As an Agile Senior Programme Manager you will drive complex programmes to success, shape how projects are run, mentor and develop PMs, and improve delivery practices and outcomes across the organisation.Day-to-day, you’ll manage programme teams to deliver on time, to scope, and within budget. You’ll work with stakeholders to maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and resolve issues quickly. Applying Agile and SAFe principles, you’ll drive improvements in delivery practices while mentoring junior PMs to build capability across the team. You’ll also contribute to planning, risk management, and reporting to ensure programmes run smoothly and effectively.Your responsibilitiesLeading and energising programme teams to deliver high‑impact projectsDriving Agile and SAFe ways of working to improve efficiency and outcomesBuilding strong stakeholder relationships and proactively resolving issuesMentoring and developing junior PMs, growing skills and team capabilityOverseeing planning, risk management, and reporting to keep programmes on trackChampioning continuous improvement to deliver smarter, more effective resultsEssential experienceLeading complex programmes successfully using Agile and SAFe frameworks, with experience of waterfall frameworks beneficialDefence experience is highly desirable but not essentialBuilding and managing strong stakeholder relationships to drive resultsDelivering projects on time, to scope, and within budget under challenging conditionsEssential qualificationsRelevant degree or equivalent professional qualificationPRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certificationSAFe Practitioner or equivalent Agile qualificationWe value difference and welcome diverse backgrounds if you can demonstrate the required experience and willingness to learn.This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site. Hybrid working patterns are available.
