Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.Location: Slough, Berkshire.Salary / Benefits £24k – £40k + Training + BenefitsWe have an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to join a long-standing and well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company. You will be working alongside a long standing team of engineers, carrying out pre-work risk assessments, installing and replacing reverse osmosis systems, installing water softener and chlorine dioxide units across Local Authority, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sites. For the successful candidate, our client can offer opportunities for overtime and excellent overtime rates, generous holiday allowance, and company pension scheme. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel and stay away due to client and company requirements.Consideration will be given to candidates from: Windsor, Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke, Woking, Guildford, Alton, High Wycombe, Abington, Witney, Bicester, Oxford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, St Albans, Hertford, Stevenage, Bedford, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Cheshunt.Experience & QualificationsExtensive experience working as an equipment engineer for a reputable Water Treatment company.Holding the Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical qualification (17th or 18th edition) would be beneficial to the role.Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently.Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.The RoleCovering Local Authority, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sites undertaking installations, maintenance and servicing of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, and reverse osmosis systems.Ensuring to carry out pre-work risk assessments.Installing and replacing reverse osmosis systems.Undertaking fault finding on site, ensuring any faults found are amended in a timely manner.Installing and replacing UV filtration and chemical dosing equipment.Working in line with HSG guidelines.Using information and findings from site to produce detailed reports, ensuring to return to clients in a timely manner.Alternative Job titles: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Water Engineer, Water Treatment Engineer, Equipment Operative.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.We are inundated with applications, we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
