Depending on performance there is a chance that your contract can be extended or you may receive a permanent contract.Contract & Position DetailsLocation – Redbridge, East LondonPosition – Year 6 Primary School TeacherType of work – Class Teacher: planning presentations, marking work, parents’ evening, etc.Contract type – Temporary (may be extended for 1 term)Full time – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)Start date – September 2025Experience, Training and QualificationsQTS/ECT or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience teaching KS1 or KS2Up to date safeguarding training issued in the past yearEligibility through ProsperoValid right to work in the UKEnhanced child barred list DBS and willingness to enrol on the DBS update serviceTwo child‑related professional references from the past two yearsWhat’s ExpectedClass Teacher responsibilities include planning lessons, marking student work, conducting parents’ evenings and participating in school activities.Additional InformationProspero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
