The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 Shunters to join EVRi Barnsley.Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.Shifts: 6pm-6am working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern Location: Barnsley, s74 Job Type : Ongoing position.Pay rates: Weekday nights: £18.59 Saturday night: £21.69 Sunday night: £22.96 The role: Perform non-stop shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations.Safely manoeuvre vehicles in tight and busy spaces.Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow.Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team.Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements.Assist with other yard duties as needed.Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).Shunt experience preferred but not essential.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Successful completion of training.Full understanding of WTD legislation.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset. xsabvtc For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch
