Duties and responsibilities:
* Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
* Completing pre-operative checks and referring on for review as and where needed
* Liaising with GP's to follow through on any extra care needed to reduce cancellations
* Liaising with anaesthetist and specialist consultants
* Run enhanced clinics
* Management of team
Who we're looking for:
* Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
* Have a minimum of 5 years surgical nursing experience.
* Extensive experience in Pre-Operative Assessment unit
* Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
* Strong communication skills
* Clinical Nurse specialist course in POA
