We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a busy civil engineering client based in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of health and safety across high-profile projects and contribute to a culture of safety excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with legislation and industry standards. Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance across all civil engineering operations. Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations, reporting findings and ensuring timely resolution of any issues. Lead safety inductions, training, and toolbox talks for staff and subcontractors. Maintain accurate records and reporting for regulatory compliance and management review. Requirements: Diploma-qualified in Health and Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent preferred). Proven experience in a dedicated health and safety role within civil engineering projects. Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation, risk assessment, and incident management. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to work proactively and independently across multiple sites.
