The Role

We're seeking Graduate Fire Engineers to join our client's growing Fire Engineering & Consultancy team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in a supportive environment where you'll learn from industry-leading professionals and contribute to projects that shape the future of safe and sustainable buildings.

You'll assist in developing fire strategies, performing fire safety assessments, and supporting senior engineers on live projects across a wide range of sectors. As your knowledge grows, you'll gain exposure to performance-based design, risk assessments, and digital fire engineering tools - building a strong foundation for professional accreditation and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation of fire strategy reports for new and existing buildings.

* Support the development of fire safety designs under the supervision of experienced engineers.

* Contribute to fire safety risk assessments and performance-based design studies.

* Help review drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance.

* Collaborate with design teams, architects, and project managers to deliver safe, practical solutions.

* Participate in site visits, inspections, and meetings to gain hands-on experience.

* Continue learning about the latest standards, codes, and digital fire engineering tools.

About You

* A degree in Fire Engineering or a relevant field.

* A genuine interest in fire safety, building performance, and sustainable design.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior engineers.

* Desire to work toward professional recognition (e.g. IFE Membership or CEng in the future).
