DDS Senior Community Based Support Staff - BVES UxbridgeJoin to apply for the DDS Senior Community Based Support Staff - BVES Uxbridge role at The Bridge of Central Massachusetts.Description and ResponsibilitiesOpen Sky’s DDS Employment Services serve individuals ranging in age from 22-55 who receive employment and/or community-based day support. The goal of Employment Services is to support individuals to choose, acquire, and maintain a job of their choice, or develop a valued role in their community. Individuals may have unique safety, behavioral or other clinical challenges. Each program offers a staffing ratio that allows the individuals in their program to obtain support as well as gain and maintain a preferred job in the community.The Senior Community Based Support Staff will assist the Employment Coordinator with the management of the daily program schedule, general running of the program and developing and implementing daily assignments. They will also review, complete, and ensure all required documentation is submitted to the electronic health record.SalaryUSD $22.76 per hour.Other Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing individualized service and behavioral plans and implementing activities that facilitate the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community by skill teaching, programming, job sharing, or coaching.Orient new staff to the program and provide peer mentoring.Monitor program supplies, vehicle maintenance, physical plant needs, and provide the Employment Coordinator with a requisition list.Assist with marketing, employer relations, and job development tasks.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.About UsAt Open Sky Community Services, we open our doors, hearts, and minds to the belief that every individual, regardless of perceived limitations, deserves the chance to live a productive and fulfilling life.
