Fixed Term - 36 months Responsible to the Macmillan Cancer Transformation Programme Manager, the post-holder supports the Board to meet its obligations in relation to engagement and involvement under the Patients Rights (Scotland) Act 2011; Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015; NHS Reform (Scotland) Act 2004 and also the expectations contained in the recently updated Planning With People guidance for Health Boards and HSCPs, published by the Scottish Government. Lead the co-creation and the effective implementation and delivery of the Macmillan Cancer Transformation Stakeholder Communications and Engagement Strategy. Work in partnership with patients, carers and the public to ensure their voices are at the heart of all service planning, design and improvement. To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service.
