Proactive Personnel are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our client team in the Newcastle-Under-Lyme Area. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience within CNC programming and CNC Setting/Operating. The role will involved working as part of a dedicated engineering team, machining precision components. Working on batch/bulk work and also bespoke products.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines.Utilise CAD models to set up CNC machines correctly and accurately.Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and materials handling.Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure that all components meet specifications.Use hand tools and other equipment to assembler precision components accurately.Maintain accurate records of production data, including programme changes and machine settings.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the workshop environment.QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Programmer on Milling or Lathes is a must.Preferably Hurco WINMAX experience is beneficial.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.Proficiency in using logic controllers and understanding their applications in CNC machinery.Familiarity with materials handling processes and techniques.Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.A keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship at all times.If you are passionate about precision engineering and looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position as a CNC Programmer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
