Senior Pensions Actuarial Consultant – Scotland As part of Isio’s Actuarial & Consulting team, you’ll advise a diverse range of clients across the private, public and not‑for‑profit sectors on defined benefit pension schemes. Responsibilities Deliver UK DB pensions advice, managing key client projects directly. Build relationships with clients, working directly as a team and mentoring junior colleagues. Assist in developing new business with existing and new clients. Lead and delegate responsibilities on projects such as actuarial valuations, pensions strategy, communications projects, scheme consolidation, data projects (benefit rectifications, dashboards, GMP equalisation). Qualifications & Experience Qualified pensions actuary FIA/FFA, Scheme Actuary or equivalent. Significant experience in the UK DB pensions industry or highly relevant transferable skills. Excellent project management, client delivery and commercial skills. Strong communicator, able to explain complex problems simply. Enthusiastic, motivated, with strong teamwork and delegation skills. Location & Working Environment Scotland – can work at one of Isio’s offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow or more widely across the UK. Hybrid working with office and home days.
