We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join our growing team at The Laurels Neurorehabilitation and Specialist Residential Service in Lincolnshire. You'll be working across both divisions of our neuro rehab centre, including our brand new Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) unit, an innovative and expanding area of our service.We're looking for a Specialty Doctor with in-patient experience, ideally within a neuropsychiatric setting, to work closely with our Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, Consultant Neuropsychologist, Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, and full multidisciplinary team (MDT). Together, you will help deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for our clients.Responsibilities:Supporting the MDT in the holistic assessment and treatment of inpatients with FNDParticipating in weekly ward rounds, risk assessments, and formulation-based treatment planningLeading on the physical health assessment of newly admitted patients and liaising with primary and secondary care services as requiredAttending and contributing to family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as requiredEnsuring clinical documentation is robust and up to date, including the completion of timely discharge and transfer summariesPractising evidence-based care through national standards and guidelines, including those from the FND Hope, NICE, and RCPsycEngaging in supervision with a designated Consultant NeuropsychiatristPreparing for and participating in external reviews (CQC and Quality Network reviews)Participating in the on-call rotaRequirements:MRCPsych (desirable, but not required)Section 12 Approved (desirable but not required)Evidence-based practiceConfidence in engaging internal and external stakeholdersPatient-centred, outcomes-based careWhat We Offer:25 days plus bank holidaysBirthday offJoin the Active Learning Hub and benefit from a wide range of e-learning and face-to-face training and development opportunitiesActive Reward App giving discounts and savings on your weekly shopFree 24-hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme Helpline & App to support with legal, health, wellbeing, relationship, and consumer adviceWe are a Disability Confident employer and provide reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
