Apprentice Equine Groom

OverviewA busy riding school open 7 days a week providing lessons for all from 4 years upwards. We provide lessons for all levels from beginner to advanced. We are looking to take on another apprentice to become a valued member of our dedicated team. This apprenticeship is approx 16 months. We are searching for a groom to join our team and assist with horse care, riding, instructing and coaching. You will carry out day to day care of the horses and equipment along with feeding and care of competition horses.ResponsibilitiesCare of horses and equipmentMucking outFeedingGroomingTacking upAssisting with lessonsMounting and dismountingLeadingSupporting riders to achieve their goalsRiding different types and levels of horses to maintain and improve trainingCare and preparation of competition horsesAssisting with professionals such as vets, farriers and physiotherapistsGrooming at shows for the right candidateSkills and QualificationsApplicants MUST have previous experience with handling and riding horses.
