Connected Curriculum aims to bring academia and industry together by integrating Siemens' and Festo's industry 4.0 technology into university curriculum. Working within a small team at Siemens, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing technical skills to develop educational resources and directly support our Connected Curriculum partners’ academic staff and students. Training can be provided on all technical aspects required, but candidates should have a sound engineering background with a curiosity about the underpinning technologies. This role is based at Manchester with 2-3 days a week expected on-site. You’ll create impact by Implement and explore cloud-based IIoT solutions using Insights Hub Use our Digital Enterprise automation portfolio to build novel solutions Help mentor and support students and leading academics from our partner institutions Collaborate with Siemens leading technical experts across the globe Help produce educational resources that showcase Siemens technologies What we're looking for We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates with a strong technical capability Experience of our automation, digitalisation and engineering technologies would be an advantage A degree in an engineering/technology related field An ability to think logically, self‑learn and take a creative approach to problem solving Able to work independently, safely and responsibly, taking ownership of challenges and ideas. You are able to drive and lead change You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions What can we offer?
