Experienced Teaching Assistant Blackburn Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in the Blackburn area? We are currently working with our partner school to find a strong and experienced teaching assistant. You must have experience dealing with challenging behaviours and able to remain calm and positive. The role is as a general teaching assistant in KS2 to support the class teacher and the learning of all pupils individuals, groups and whole class. Key Requirements Proven experience as both a general and SEND Teaching Assistant. Strong understanding of various strategies to engage and support pupils. Experience across the primary phase. Available Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Key Skills Supports teachers in managing classroom behavior, creating a positive and productive learning environment. Provides individual and group support to students, offering encouragement and guidance. Prepares and utilizes appropriate resources for teaching and learning. Works effectively with teachers and staff, sharing information and providing support. Maintains a professional demeanor, creating positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. Pay Rate Pay Rate: £15 - £16 per hour, dependent on experience.
