We're Hiring HGV Class 1 Driver ADR GBA Logistics Location : Newton Aycliffe Full-Time : Monday - Friday, 5 on 2 off working pattern (start time 19 : 30 - 23 : 30) Salary : £40,000 per annum Peak Season Bonus All Drivers who start direct (PAYE) from Newton Aycliffe will receive a £500 Peak Bonus : £250 paid AFTER a successful completion of probation after 3 months of service £250 paid AFTER a successful 6 months of completed service Take the Wheel of Opportunity - Class 1 Drivers Wanted Are you passionate about delivering excellence every step of the way? Your role will involve completing nationwide deliveries in a safe, professional and compliant manner, ensuring each journey reflects our commitment to operational excellence. You will handle cage work, primarily serving our retail customers, so a flexible and customer‑focused approach is essential. Whether you're on the road or at a delivery point, you'll represent GBA with pride and professionalism. Ensure safe and secure loading, using proper load restraint procedures. Drive safely and professionally, complying with traffic laws, working time regulations, and tachograph rules. Practice fuel‑efficient driving and report any vehicle defects promptly. Perform regular walk‑around inspections for ongoing compliance. Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
