Senior Software Developer, Verification Location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom bet365 is a leading online gambling company dedicated to innovation and customer experience. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Verification team in a ground‑up re‑architecture of our platform. Job Description As a Senior Software Developer, you will develop, enhance, and support our business‑critical Verification platform, including real‑time facial recognition systems that leverage AI, and core operational tooling. Working with a full‑stack team through re‑architecture into Golang, React, and cloud platforms, you will design and implement robust verification systems, ensuring high quality standards within a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Lead design and development of scalable, maintainable, and performant verification solutions. Act as point of escalation for the team, providing support during and outside office hours. Apply governance to overall solution design and set standards for code quality and delivery. Ensure solutions meet business needs and produce accurate estimations and documentation. Own technical solutions from development to live deployment. Mentor and distribute knowledge among team members. Qualifications Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, and TypeScript (or equivalent technologies). Leadership experience delivering development teams and technical projects to successful completion. Patience and skill in mentoring and coaching staff. Strong technical documentation skills. Attention to detail and high standards of work. Experience working with high‑availability, multi‑user, service‑based systems. Additional Information This role is eligible for the company’s hybrid working from home policy.
