Electrical Engineer – Balfour Beatty (@one Alliance) Location: Peterborough Balfour Beatty plays a key role as part of the Anglian Water’s @one Alliance. As an Electrical Engineer within one of our four business units, you’ll provide electrical engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region. Key Responsibilities Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specification schedules, data sheets and drawings. Design and specify LV assemblies, including specification schedules, data sheets and drawings (e.g. MCC, LV switchboards and control panels). Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (e.g. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams). Liaise with others on technical issues, the construction team, operations, suppliers and utility companies. Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design. Qualifications Demonstrable experience as an electrical design engineer. Strong electrical engineering background. Willingness to collaborate and work with a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems. Experience in the water industry is an advantage. Full UK driving licence – site visits will be required.
