OHL Project Coordinator – Northern Powergrid An OHL Project Coordinator role at Integrated Utility Services, based around the Stockton region. You will monitor OHL activities across Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne & Wear, and Teesside as part of the major OHL framework IUS is conducting for Northern Powergrid. Base pay range Competitive salary between £57,960 – £69,214 (48‑Hour working week). Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increases up to 28 days with service Double matched pension scheme (up to 6% employee contribution, 12% employer contribution with service) Career development & progression via technical competency scheme 24/7 access to mental health support & counselling services Eye care vouchers with funding towards glasses Contractual sick pay Long service recognition Paid volunteering opportunities within the community Key Responsibilities OHL Project Coordinator on Northern Powergrid Overhead Line works Monitor quality and efficiency of OHL projects by checking works against specifications and auditing work instructions to ensure compliance Conduct regular site safety audits – checking tools, equipment, training and compliance to company policies Support with surveying and collating of on‑site information for front‑end purposes such as accessing or pricing up schemes Frequent supervision of site activities to create a constant senior presence and maintain a positive safety/quality culture within the OHL team Support planners with other activities Report directly to the Operations Manager Work effectively in a team environment Communicate efficiently and interpret information Manage time effectively Use Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and Excel Apply risk management and conduct positive site engagements Understand local authorities, NRSWA and traffic management Qualifications and Attributes Essential Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience supervising and managing on‑site activities preferably related to OHLs IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent experience in safety principles and risk management/mitigation Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification in Civil, Utilities or Electrical Infrastructure (e.g., A‑level or higher education certificate) Experience working with overhead lines on both HV & LV assets Previous experience on DNO asset replacement sites Background and understanding of street works, civils and temporary works Previous experience with customer liaison What next?
