What you'll be doing… Contribute to an ongoing publication schedule of consumer and industry insight across key markets, categories and trends, primarily through authoring content, and using data visualization and data modelling techniques. Produce written reports published in PowerPoint, brief case studies and "analyst briefings". Take early responsibility for producing your own content with guidance from a manager, and demonstrate a capacity to continually increase analytical skillset and knowledge of the FMCG, Foodservice, and Packaging Industries. Participate in projects such as primary research design, bespoke deliverables for clients, and present insights to clients or at industry events. Maintain and enhance GlobalData Consumer's reputation as a provider of exceptional insight, helping business decisions of hundreds of clients, ranging from start‑ups to blue‑chip companies. What we're looking for… Educated to degree level. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Excellent time‑management and organisational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to analyse quantitative data, and an understanding of the key issues, FMCG trends, macro issues, and their impact on the value chain and consumer behaviour. Experience producing market analysis (manipulating and analysing data and producing meaningful insight) is desirable. Client‑facing skills (ability to interact with and form relationships with key clients, meet weekly KPIs related to client calls), paired with commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities. Self‑starter, detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Self‑motivated with ability to work autonomously and within a team. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management frameworks.
