Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Bid Manager to join their dynamic team. We have 2 opportunities in Glasgow and West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating tenders for mechanical, and piping projects within the building services sector, with a focus on renewable technology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, ensuring accurate cost estimations and compelling bid submissions that align with client requirements and project deadlines. Working closely with various departments, the estimator will assess project risks, obtain supplier quotes, and support bid documentation to facilitate winning new contracts. You will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proposals are competitive, comprehensive, and commercially sound.

Proven experience in bid management, estimating or tendering within building services, HVAC, piping, HIU, plant room projects

Strong background in mechanical estimation, ideally with exposure to energy or renewable technology projects

Experience in pricing subcontractor labour and materials, with excellent negotiation skills

Ability to prepare professional bid/tender documents with attention to detail

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills to assess project risks and costs

Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Organised, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
