About Us Elemore Hall School, a Durham LA maintained residential and day special school for 200+ secondary pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs, is seeking a high-quality Mathematics teacher to join our dedicated team at the Chilton site. Since expanding in September 2021 to a thriving three-site provision—including two 90+ place KS3/4 sites and a 20-place KS4 complex SEMH unit—we continue to deliver exceptional education and care. Our recent Ofsted Care Standards Inspection judged us Outstanding, and our education provision is consistently rated Good or better. Role Summary You will join a collaborative team of five Maths teachers across all sites, delivering a vibrant curriculum leading to accreditation including Functional Skills and GCSE. Small classes are supported by Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 numeracy sessions, enabling every pupil to reach their potential. You will also act as a Teacher Tutor and contribute to our Culture Programme, with opportunities to participate in our extended and residential activities (paid, optional).
