Housekeeping Assistant – Fountains Lodge Care Home Location: 13‑17 London Road, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells TN4 0RJ Salary: £12.25 – £13.25 per hour Contract: Permanent Contract, Days Care Home Background: Fountains Lodge provides personalised nursing and residential care for people living with cognitive impairments, including dementia care. The purpose‑built home in Tunbridge Wells also offers short stays, including palliative care. The home features tastefully decorated bedrooms with en‑suite facilities, a café, lounges, and private dining areas. It is well‑located near shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, and has good transport links. Job Description: As a Housekeeping Assistant you will maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will work closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff, ensuring communal areas and residents’ bedrooms meet high standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff. Vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the upkeep of all communal areas and resident bedrooms. Maintain housekeeping stocks for day‑to‑day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Key Skills / Qualifications You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. You are comfortable multitasking, managing multiple requests, and collaborating with other teams to keep residents happy.
