Aztrum is working on behalf of a well-established and respected independent Acoustic Consultancy, seeking to expand their team with the appointment of an Acoustic Consultant. About the Company

Our client is a specialist consultancy headquartered in Liverpool, operating across the UK. They provide expert advice on environmental noise and vibration, with a diverse project portfolio spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments. Known for their technical expertise and pragmatic approach, they are experiencing continued growth and are now looking to strengthen their team.

The Role

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering a range of acoustic assessments and reports. This includes:

Environmental noise impact assessments for planning applications
Noise modelling using industry-standard software (e.g., SoundPLAN, CadnaA, ODEON)
Baseline noise and vibration surveys
Liaising with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams
Preparing technical reportsCandidate Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who meets the following criteria:

Degree in Acoustics or related discipline (e.g., Physics, Environmental Science with acoustics modules)
Membership or working towards membership of the IOA (Institute of Acoustics)
2+ years of consultancy experience in Acoustics
Full UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer
