CNC Turner - Programmer

Location: Eastleigh

Salary: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour (DOE) + overtime + company benefits
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:15pm | Friday, 7:30am-1:30pm

A well-established family-run precision engineering company with over 30 years of experience supplying high-quality machined components to the automation, automotive, electrical, defence, and pharmaceutical industries is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing team.
The business continues to invest in new machinery and technology to meet increasing customer demand and deliver exceptional quality standards.

The Role:
Working on Doosan Puma CNC lathes, you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operation of machines to produce precision metal components to tight tolerances.
You'll be joining a small, supportive team in a clean, well-equipped workshop that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme, set, and operate Doosan Puma CNC turning centres using Fanuc controls.
Interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate, high-quality components.
Create, prove out, and optimise CNC programmes for small- and medium-batch runs.
Carry out in-process inspection to ensure all parts meet specifications.
Maintain machinery, tooling, and workspace to company standards.
Work collaboratively to meet production schedules and quality targets.
Support general workshop duties as required.About You:

Proven experience as a CNC Turner with programming capability (Fanuc experience preferred).
Confident programming and editing directly from engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining best practices.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Experience with Doosan Puma machines is highly desirable.What's on Offer:
