Overview Job Advert: Logistics Coordinator Salary: £30,000.00 per annum with an increase on completion of probation. Hours: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm Monday to Friday plus 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am-12pm Halo ARC - Head Office Halo is the industry leading UK-based accident repair group, with 35 established accident repair centres across the UK and we are still growing – with further additions in the pipeline for this year and next Partnered with IRS (Intelligent Repair Services) based in Germany, who are the largest provider of accident claim services in Europe, this partnership provides Halo with an unrivalled platform and the resource for excellent training, development and employee packages Role purpose To support our head office teams we are looking for an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator with a vast knowledge of route planning and driver tacho laws. You will take control of our Halo Recoveries operation and manage the day-to-day use of external third-party recoveries to ensure our customers are given the best service to suit their needs. You will plan runs for our fleet of HGVs ensuring efficiency in each run and ensuring drivers are sticking within their legal requirements. The success of the role will be based on run-efficiency and the ability to showcase cost savings through clever planning. Responsibilities Logistic planning to deliver the highest service levels to customers & clients Manage Halo Recovery’s to eliminate unnecessary expenditure Manage, organise and plan internal logistic movements throughout the country Work with the Logistics Manager to create efficient runs, within specified SLA’s Work closely with the HQ workshop to plan vehicle collections and deliveries During periods of downtime assist with the company Fleet Operation What we are Looking For Excellent customer service (Essential) Very computer literate (Essential) Working knowledge of route planning for drivers (Essential) Knowledge of driver Tacho laws (Essential) Knowledge of the accident repair sector (Desirable) Benefits Accredited Living Wage Employer.
