Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Consultant, NHS based in Uxbridge, West London. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work full‑time or part‑time hours per week. They accept CVs for both roles separately. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care. Key Responsibilities A full‑time locum Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist is required to cover in the community team and the liaison team. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – psychiatry community services and Monday and Friday – liaison service. Days can be negotiable. Providing clinical leadership to the team. Acting as Responsible Clinician for patients on community orders, including preparing reports for and attending Hospital Managers and Mental Health Review Tribunal hearings. Participating in clinical and business meetings of the multidisciplinary team. Participating in team learning/development events. Assessing new referrals with other MDT members. Providing phone advice for clinical staff. Being available for emergency and home visits at short notice, and participating as necessary in Mental Health Act assessments. Providing supervision as required for the clinical work of trainees within the team. Providing support and advice to colleagues of different professional backgrounds as required.
