OverviewOur client is looking for a registered general nurse to join them in the role of Occupational Health Nurse Advisor Occupational Health Nurse Advisor – Arnold, Nottingham. Full time, permanent position, 37 hours (Monday – Friday). Grade 6: £39,152 - £42,839 per annum.Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKResponsibilitiesJoin an Occupational Health team, working together to respond to the changing needs of the Service.Undertake the full remit of supporting and delivering an occupational health service, including but not limited to other aspects of occupational health and wellbeing not covered below.Support and advise the occupational health technician in ensuring safe clinical practices are being delivered.Support, advise managers and human resources in the implementation of the attendance absence policy.Deliver a clinical service, including health surveillance, to help the organisation meet its statutory requirements for Health and Safety.Provide clinical advice to and support line managers in identifying key health, safety and wellbeing issues.Undertake pre-employment screening for both uniformed and non-uniformed employees.Promote and deliver health promotion and education sessions.Support the occupational health manager in reviewing clinical policies, procedures and guidance.Support the OH&F team and continued delivery of the service in the OHM absence.Uphold and embody NFRS’s Core Code of Ethics.Experience/QualificationsRegistered General Nurse with the NMC.Hold or be working towards a formal Occupational Health qualification.Hold current training in audiometry, spirometry and vision screening.
