Assistant Greenkeeper

Get Golfing is seeking an Assistant Greenkeeper to join their team at Hampton Court Palace. Get Golfing CIO owns and operates a network of golf courses across the country, providing golf enthusiasts with exceptional golfing experiences. As an Assistant Greenkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the golf course and ensuring a high-quality playing surface for golfers. Responsibilities Maintain the golf course by mowing, watering, and planting trees and shrubs. Treat and control weeds, pests, and diseases on the golf course using environmentally friendly methods. Renovate and maintain bunkers, hazards, and water features. Repair any damages caused by golfers or animals. Respond to golfer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with drainage problems and apply irrigation as needed. Cut new holes on greens and ensure they are in good condition. Operate and maintain machinery and tools. Requirements Level 2 Sports Turf Management Experience in golf course maintenance or similar field is preferred. Knowledge of turf maintenance and environmentally friendly practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Passionate about golf and committed to delivering high standards. Ability to work efficiently and effectively. Requirements Level 2 Sports Turf Management Prior experience in golf course maintenance preferred. Knowledge of turf maintenance and environmentally friendly practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
