Order Control Supervisor

DP World, the fast-growing transportation and logistics leader that currently manages more than 10% of world trade, is seeking a well-organized professional to join its Greenfield Contract Logistics site in Ostrava Czech Republic, as Order Control Supervisor. In this position, you will plan and monitor workflow and oversee material movement throughout production cycles to ensure smooth, continuous, and efficient operations. Your Responsibilities: Providing operational support to all departments regarding packing queries, ensuring quick and accurate issue resolution. Understanding customer and project requirements and making informed and timely decisions to support smooth operations. Minimizing line downtime through proactive planning, problem-solving, and effective communication. Assisting in the follow-up and resolution of customer concerns, ensuring high satisfaction levels. Identifying root causes of process or quality issues and implementing robust countermeasures to prevent recurrence. Sustaining corrective actions over time to eliminate repeat issues and drive continuous improvement. Ensuring that all required information for each project is accurately maintained within the DP World order book to enable timely and error-free shipment processing. Developing, implementing, and maintaining Standard Work and Quality processes to deliver a "Right First Time" product to the customer. Ensuring full compliance with all customer-required quality processes and specifications, including QCOS; promoting and enforcing a zero-tolerance approach to deviations to consistently exceed customer expectations. Releasing packing orders to production lines in a timely manner, aligned with staffing levels, available man-hours, and MCD dates within the project build plan. Coordinating with RFU teams to ensure all materials are delivered in accordance with required MRD dates. Your Profile: High school diploma required; college-level education or relevant vocational training is preferred. Demonstrated experience in order process control or a similar operational support role is essential. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally AOS and SAP. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a good ability to analyze and interpret operational data. Fluency in Czech and English, both in written and spoken. Excellent communication abilities, enabling clear information exchange with customers, colleagues, supervisors, and operational staff. Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities, with the confidence to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when performing repetitive or time-sensitive tasks. Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. Solid administrative skills and comfort managing documentation, reporting, and order-related workflows. Ability to work cooperatively within operational teams and demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented approach when facing challenges.
