The role is based at our SM2 Factory in Leicestershire LE67 6HS. Responsibilities Lead maintenance shut coordination and establish engineering best practices. Control and populate the 2-shift engineering plan for all personnel, including contractors; chair weekly planning meetings for planned activities. Control, populate, and prioritise a work backlog for all maintenance activities and engineering projects. Assist with the implementation of a new CMMS and T-card system. Collaborate with Engineering Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Manager, and Operational Managers to provide a work schedule for shift engineers to maintain and improve asset reliability. Coordinate with production, services, and central functions to ensure routine maintenance is planned, job requests are executed, and costs are captured efficiently. Manage documentation and records for production and auxiliary plant, including insurance records. Act as site contact for contract coordination to ensure safe, controlled activities meet engineering standards. Essential Qualifications & Experience Engineering Training / Qualifications (NVQ3, HNC or equivalent). IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification. Demonstrable mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge. Planning and coordination experience with the ability to manage people and resources. Problem-solving skills to deliver efficiency improvements. Strong computer skills and good communication techniques. Continuous improvement mindset. Benefits Full-time, permanent role.
