Salary: Circa £47,000 per annum Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Holiday: 25 days + 8 Bank Holidays Location: Large CNC Woodworking Machining Centre We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our client's well-established CNC woodworking facility. You will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and improving a wide range of production equipment, including edge banders, large band saws, CNC machinery, and a brand-new extraction system. This role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in keeping machinery running at peak performance, minimising downtime, and ensuring a safe and productive site environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day maintenance, repair, setting and adjustment of all production equipmentPlanned preventative maintenance scheduling and executionRapid response to breakdowns, failures, and operator concernsMaintenance and safe operation of the site's new extraction systemOversight of facilities and building-related maintenanceEnsuring strict adherence to Health & Safety standardsManaging xsabvtc and supervising specialist subcontractors for servicing, repairs, and warranty workAbout YouExperienced Maintenance Engineer (manufacturing/woodworking preferred)Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilityKnowledge of CNC machinery, edge banders, band saws, and extraction systemsSafety-first mindset with strong understanding of ...
