This Teaching Assistant role is full‑time, long‑term, and starts as soon as possible. The role will last for the rest of this school year, the whole of the next academic year, and beyond. The Teaching Assistant will be based within the EYFS SEND Provision, supporting across both Nursery and Reception children with complex needs. You will assist with activities, lead small group interventions, and provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver small group interventions, 1:1 support, and general class assistance. Support learning through play, early phonics, and basic number activities. Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment. Provide tailored support for children with social, emotional, and developmental needs. The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Be a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant with EYFS and complex SEND experience. Have a sound understanding of child development and early years frameworks. Be creative, adaptable, and confident working across different EYFS settings. Be able to support children with a wide range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, Non‑verbal, behavioural and emotional need. Show excellent teamwork and communication skills. Teaching Assistant Requirements Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain). Right to work in the UK.
