We’re looking for a dedicated Team Lead to join our dynamic Lochaber Social Work Team, based in the heart of Fort William. As Team Lead, you will provide leadership and operational oversight to a committed team delivering high‑quality adult social care services across Lochaber. You’ll play a key role in service development, staff supervision, and ensuring best practice in line with statutory responsibilities and local priorities. We’re Seeking Someone Who Brings The post holder must hold a relevant Social Work qualification at degree level or equivalent and be registered with the SSSC as a Social Worker. Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience. Hold qualification in post‑qualifying practice including Adult Protection, Mental Health Officer and Practice Education or equivalent experience, with proven leadership, decision‑making and communication skills. Possess a full UK driving licence (essential for travel across the Lochaber area). A commitment to person‑centred, strengths‑based practice. This post will be based at Fort William Health Centre, with a requirement to work across the Lochaber region as needed.
