Join the dsm‑firmenich team as an Operations Expert in Dalry, UK.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing process descriptions, checklists and SOPs.Support development of new URFS and interrogating existing software for process investigations and optimisation.Fulfilling the relevant Permit Cliq signature authority role and conducting LEO assessments to assess critical process isolations.Preparing training and assessment documentation and conducting training with operations team.Assisting the shift manager in assessing the competency of the field operators.Preparing safety specific documentation (e.g., JSA, Task Risk Reviews, COSHH and manual handling assessments, risk assessments etc).Attain a working understanding of the MOC process and assisting the shift manager in ensuring that changes to the plant or process are clearly communicated to CROs and field operators.Maintaining the document database (SOPs, PIDs, checklists etc).Providing troubleshooting assistance to the operations team.Assisting with start‑up and shutdown preparations.We OfferA workplace with a strong focus on the work environment and a positive atmosphere.A motivating and professional work setting within a highly skilled and successful team.A position offering the opportunity to develop your skills and quickly expand your area of responsibility, based on demonstrated performance.Many opportunities for learning and development, both in technical and personal areas.A full‑time position with a salary aligned with your qualifications.You BringSuccessful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant industrial experience.An HND or equivalent in a relevant subject would be desirable for this position.Dependent upon experience candidates may be required to demonstrate a willingness to work towards Further Education.A proven track record in problem solving and troubleshooting is necessary.Candidates must also demonstrate leadership, teamwork, good communication skills, planning and organising.About dsm‑firmenichAt dsm‑firmenich, we don’t just meet expectations – we go beyond them.
