Position details: Level 2 Teaching Assistant covering maternity leave starting Monday 5th January 2026, term time only. 32.5 hours per week. Salary Grade 5 SCP 9 – 17 (£19,061.78 – £21,832.38). We are looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to work in our wonderful school and be part of our dynamic team. Responsibilities Join a dedicated and hardworking team of teachers and TAs in an innovative, creative and supportive environment with inspirational children. Embrace our inclusive and creative philosophy and help develop an environment where “Every child is given the opportunity to sky rocket” Support teaching activities and help facilitate learning for KS3/4 students. Assist teachers in planning, preparing and delivering lessons. Contribute to safeguarding – uphold safeguarding policy and undertake any required safeguarding duties. Maintain accurate attendance records and other administrative duties as required. Qualifications & Requirements Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent. Highly motivated, well‑organised, enthusiastic, and committed to student development. Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Subject to enhanced DBS disclosure check and relevant employment checks. Ability to work flexibly within term time only constraints. Recruitment Process Enhanced DBS Disclosure check and related criminal record checks will be required. Self‑declaration of criminal record or information making you unsuitable will be requested for shortlisted candidates.
