OverviewSEN TutorThrive Education Group is currently looking for a SEN Tutor who has a passion for supporting students with additional needs. As a SEN Tutor your role will involve working 1:1 with Primary and Secondary aged pupils in local libraries, community centres and students homes in the Sefton area.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and delivering a variety of subjects to students with various special needsProviding weekly reports based on students attendance and progressionLiaising with local authorities and virtual schools to provide updates on students sessionsSupport students with their mental health and their transitions back into schoolRequirementsPreviously experience working with students with special needs is essentialTeaching qualification or strong background in SEN tutoringPatience and resilienceBenefitsFlexible working hours£27-32 per hourWorking outside of a classroom environmentPlan and deliver your own style of work / flexible subjects to focus onCompetitive rates of payIf you are interested in working with special needs students and you are looking for a new challenge then this may be the role for you.
