Job Overview Panda Waste is a team dedicated to environmental excellence in collections and deliveries. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Multi‑Skilled Driver to join our Knottingley depot (WF11 0LA). Role Experienced driver for a full‑time role involving a mixture of HGV Class 2 and van driving duties. You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring safe and efficient collections and deliveries and contributing directly to a cleaner, greener future. Schedule Full‑time, permanent, Monday to Friday, stable hours Working hours between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM Occasional Saturday work may be required Key Responsibilities Perform diligent daily and weekly vehicle safety and compliance checks. Efficiently manage and execute assigned collection and delivery routes. Maintain accurate electronic and written records for all operational activities. Communicate clearly and effectively with the depot team to ensure smooth operations. Essential Requirements Valid Category C (HGV Class 2) licence and current Driver CPC qualification. Current digital tachograph card. A minimum of 2 years professional driving experience. Must be over 25 years of age for insurance compliance. Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and transport regulations. Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of the local Knottingley/West Midlands area. Compensation & Benefits Pay rate: £15.75 per hour. Overtime: £23.63 per hour (paid for hours beyond the standard week). Early start bonus: £10.00 per day (for starts before 4:30 AM). Meal allowance: £3.00 per day. Potential daily bonus: up to £13.00 per day (£65.00 per week potential). Night work allowance: £26.50 per night when required. You are reliable, able to manage your time and routes effectively, and committed to working towards a cleaner future.
