Job Overview Position: People Logistics Coordinator at Boulot Location: Head Office (SA31 2NF) with occasional travel to services across South Wales. Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Base Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum. Essentials We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented People Logistics Coordinator to support our Operations team. The role is responsible for managing the movement, scheduling, and support of personnel across South Wales through careful planning of staff rotas. This position will ensure staffing needs are met efficiently, guaranteeing that services have adequately filled rotas to provide the best possible care to those in our care. Qualifications Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Able to identify patterns. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales. Diligent and detail‑oriented. Respond promptly to staffing changes, sickness, and emergency cover requirements. Liaise with managers and team leaders to forecast staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly. Ensure compliance with working time regulations, contractual obligations, and care standards. Maintain up‑to‑date records of staff availability, leave, and training requirements. Communicate rota changes clearly and promptly to staff members. Support recruitment and onboarding processes by integrating new staff into schedules. Monitor and report on staffing patterns, overtime, and resource utilisation. Experience Previous experience in rota planning, workforce coordination, or scheduling within health and social care is desirable. You may have a background in logistics, planning, or have worked as a booker. Even if you have not directly coordinated rotas, transferable skills from other employment that required planning are valued. Desirable Awareness of working time regulations.
