This role will suit an experienced Junior Buyer or Senior Buyer from the food industry who is looking to develop themselves and grow within a business that has strong values and a great reputation in the market. Responsibilities Develop sourcing and category plans to deliver cost savings, innovation, process and product improvement. Implement and deliver procurement strategies across key spend areas within direct and/or indirect categories ensuring cost-effective purchasing. Identify opportunities to leverage costs across the business whilst ensuring a continuous supply of raw materials and the delivery of procurement projects. Qualifications 2+ years' buying experience in food or FMCG manufacturing. Experience owning and managing your own category. Good knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier communication across categories.
