The Role We are seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing & Social Care programme with our Oxford Brookes University partnership (OBU). Flexibility to teach weekday, evenings and weekends is required. What you’ll be doing As a Lecturer in Health, Wellbeing & Social Care at Global Banking School, you will deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, handle learning, teaching and assessment, and stay updated on developments in the field and student support practices. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet learning outcomes. Develop, update and improve course materials. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials. Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Stay current with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Work toward defined objectives for student attendance, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Have prior UK HE lecturing experience in the subject area. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Experience reporting and maintaining thorough student records. Able to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Capable of working with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or equivalent). Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes.
