More About Your Role We have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure. You will work in a fun, lively environment with like‑minded people, inspiring others to work together and deliver their best. A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is beneficial, but if you are safety conscious, a competent swimmer and eager to gain valuable life skills, we will support you in achieving this qualification. Starting your career as a Lifeguard opens paths to Operational Management, Sales, Fitness or Customer Service. In the Lifeguard role, we offer ongoing training and competency assessments, first‑aid training, swimming teacher qualifications and various apprenticeship routes. More About You A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential. Supervise customers and other lifeguards using swimming and pool facilities. Act safely while holding responsibility for the health and safety of all pool users and overseeing building operations. Show excellent attention to detail, ensuring the safety of customers while they enjoy the facilities. Deliver first‑class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner and exceeding standards. Maintain first‑class cleanliness, acting when required.
