Community Support Worker

Barrow‑In‑Furness, Cumbria – up to £12.40 per hour (Full‑time/Part‑time) Are you a caring individual who enjoys working with people? This role invites you to join the community outreach team in Barrow as a Support Worker. You will support adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities, helping them to live best independent lives. You will engage with service users, building trusting therapeutic relationships, visiting at their homes or other settings, and offering practical and emotional support in line with each individual support plan. Your daily tasks may include cooking, appointments, medication and money management. We have flexible hours – 37.5 hrs for full‑time and 22.5 hrs for part‑time – on a flexible rota. Lone work and initiative are essential. Car driver and car owner (or vehicle access) is essential; mileage allowance is paid. Benefits: probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days annual leave and company‑paid enhanced DBS.
